No Load on Pedals

Modified on Fri, 2 Aug at 1:40 PM

Load to the pedals is only applied when the following conditions are met, this is to ensure patient safety:

  • You have to pedal more than 30 rpm. It is a safety aspect, that there is no load on the brake under 30 rpm.

  • If you reduce suddenly the pedalling speed, ex. from 70 to 40 rpm the brake will through its rotational speed higher rotate as you pedal and you will feel no load until the pedalling speed is again identical to the rotation speed of the brake.
