Suspect SpiroBlue Head Failure

Modified on Tue, 24 Sep at 4:33 PM

Swap the head from a good SpiroStik to see if the problem moves, head's are replaceable and are expected to have a limited life.

It's fairly easy to swap them over.

  1. Take out the batteries.
  2. Use a paperclip to remove the retaining pins on either side of the Spiro Blue, by sliding the paperclip through the holes in the retaining pin (it should slide in through one side and out through the other)
  3. Pull out the head
  4. Fit a different head from a good unit
  5. Batteries in
  6. Re test.

If the problem goes away it's time to purchase replacement heads.
