- Insert the Blue Cherry Installation CD or extract the downloaded files from the Love Medical FTP Server.
- Run the 'setup.exe' file from within the CD/extracted folder
- Choose you language, Press Next
- Choose Either:
- Single Workstation Installation, where by the Front end software and the SQL database will both be installed to work from the same machine, also chose this option is the device should work as a 'synchronised' database system, as all prerequisites for this type of installation are accounted for by performing and initial standalone installation.
- Server Installation, which will only install the SQL Database designed to be used by remote machines on the network.
- Client Installation, where only the Front end software will be installed, ready to connect to a database on the network. All client installations must run the same version, newer versions are not compatible with older configurations files, and these are stored centrally in the database to ensure consistent environment.
- For any installation other than standalone, you will now choose the SQL Server options (Please note if you are using a SQL Server that does not have a named instance you should still finish the server name with \ for example EG-SQL01\ )
- Agree the Terms in the License Agreement
- Accept the default installation path unless you have good reason to change this
- Watch the installation proceed
- Click Finish
You will now see the Program installation has completed and Desktop and start menu selections have been created.
When the program is first started, if no database is found a new database is created. This may take some time.
You will now be presented with a box to input your product key, which you will have from Love Medical when you purchased the system. This must be entered exactly as it was sent to you.
You must now register your copy of Blue Cherry, the activation code uses machine details from the PC and the Product code, so will be unique to each PC (and will change if major changes are made to the PC such as operating system changes or hardware changes)
Choose ‘Enter Code’
Send the Product Key and Workstation ID to us by raising a support ticket or emailing support@lovemedical.com
By way of return on the Ticket created you will receive your activation key, which can be placed into the boxes available. Enter the key and click Accept
You are now ready to use your Blue Cherry software.
