Transferring patient files - Import

Importing measurements for a single patient.

As with “Export”, clicking on “Import” will import a single patient record. Browse to the data folder to import from & click “Open” to Import. Blue Cherry will only import data saved in .grp format.

Importing a group of patients

As with “Export”, clicking on the down arrow to the right of the “Import” icon will allow you to import a group of patients. Browse to the data folder & click “Open” to Import. . Blue Cherry will only import data saved in .grp format.

Patient Connection and Pre-Test

Checking Cycle ergometer connection configuration

Cycle ergometers & treadmills typically attach to Blue Cherry & Amedtec software using RS232 connections. A USB connection can be used in conjunction with a Serial/USB converter & the correct drivers.

If your ergometer fails to respond during testing, please check the following:

1. Open Amedtec ECG software

2. Click on the “File” tab

3. Click “Options”

4. Select your ergometer from the list of devices on the left hand side

5. Check that “Enable bicycle” is ticked, and the correct model is selected from the Model list. Make sure that “Software version >ES 5.0” is selected, and that the correct COM port is in use. Click “Test” to test communication with the ergometer.
