Flow Calibration Failure

Drift on Calibration

Calibration drift can be seen in the calibration screen usually as the right hand graph drifting one way or the other.

Flow calibration drift generally has two causes.

  1. The flow sensor has failed due to excess water vapour in the connection ports.
  2. The flow tube set has become damaged physically or is occluded with excess water vapour.

The primary step to resolve this problem is to replace each piece one step at a time. First change the flow sensor see if the machine will calibrate, if not exchange the flow tube set and repeat calibration.

This process will enable the user to determine the faulty component; the faulty piece can then be inspected to find the cause of the problem (once the current test has been completed with the replacement part)
