Ergostik Pressure Test

Open Blue Cherry
Ensure the ergostik is turned on and has completed its 15 minute warm up.
Disconnect the Nafion Sample Line from the red port located in the front of the Ergostik.
Open the device information in the device bar located along the bottom of the Blue Cherry software.
The Pump speed should be set at 50%
Close the Calibration gas and ensure any excess gas is removed from the tubing connected to the Ergostik.
Ensure the Gas Valve is Open & Calibration valve is closed in the device information. CO2 Pressure should be 20 – 40 below the ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 70 – 90 below ambient pressure.
Now close both the gas valve and the calibration gas valve, CO2 pressure should be 50 -70 below ambient pressure and O2 should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
Now make sure the gas sample line is connected and open the calibration gas, close the gas valve and open the calibration gas, CO2 Pressure should be 50 – 70 below ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure, some gas should exhaust from the yellow luer port on the back side of the Ergostik.
Now connect the Nafion sample line.
Close the Calibration gas and ensure any excess gas is removed from the tubing connected to the Ergostik.
Ensure the Gas Valve is Open & Calibration valve is closed in the device information. CO2 Pressure should be 50 – 70 below the ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
Now close both the gas valve and the calibration gas valve, CO2 pressure should be 50 -70 below ambient pressure and O2 should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
