- Open Blue Cherry
- Ensure the ergostik is turned on and has completed its 15 minute warm up.
- Disconnect the Nafion Sample Line from the red port located in the front of the Ergostik.
- Open the device information in the device bar located along the bottom of the Blue Cherry software.
- The Pump speed should be set at 50%
- Close the Calibration gas and ensure any excess gas is removed from the tubing connected to the Ergostik.
- Ensure the Gas Valve is Open & Calibration valve is closed in the device information. CO2 Pressure should be 20 – 40 below the ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 70 – 90 below ambient pressure.
- Now close both the gas valve and the calibration gas valve, CO2 pressure should be 50 -70 below ambient pressure and O2 should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
- Now make sure the gas sample line is connected and open the calibration gas, close the gas valve and open the calibration gas, CO2 Pressure should be 50 – 70 below ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure, some gas should exhaust from the yellow luer port on the back side of the Ergostik.
- Now connect the Nafion sample line.
- Close the Calibration gas and ensure any excess gas is removed from the tubing connected to the Ergostik.
- Ensure the Gas Valve is Open & Calibration valve is closed in the device information. CO2 Pressure should be 50 – 70 below the ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
- Now close both the gas valve and the calibration gas valve, CO2 pressure should be 50 -70 below ambient pressure and O2 should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure.
- Now make sure the gas sample line is connected and open the calibration gas, close the gas valve and open the calibration gas, CO2 Pressure should be 50 – 70 below ambient pressure and O2 pressure should be 100 – 120 below ambient pressure, some gas should exhaust from the yellow luer port on the back side of the Ergostik.
